This famous Zante main strip is about 300m long and is just packed with people, buzzing around, causing mischief, getting mortal and having a laugh. Even just by walking through the neon-lit street, hearing the music and seeing the smiling happy faces, you will definitely get that buzzing feeling. This isn’t like your typical night out – not a Wetherspoons around. Check out some of the popular bars and clubs such as Zeros, Plus Club and Republic Beach Club.

This nightlife is so far off the hook it doesn’t even remember who the hook is. Banging music, bustling bars, epic clubs, and mad moves – this place has got it all. If you work hard, you should get to play hard, right? Sound like your cup of tea? Then, Zante is the one for you.

It’s no secret that the Greece has some of the tastiest food in Europe. Surrounded by the Medietraia sea, it’s not hard to get a fresh and delicious meal in a restaurant. Washed down with a glass of Ouzo, a Moussaka or Gyros with a side of tzatziki is just the treat you need on your days off.

There are endless places to eat in Zante. You can always  reply on a quick junk food fix with Mcdonalds, KFC and Burger King on the doorstep, but don’t pass on the local dishes they are just delicious! There are some great restaurants where you can catch the sunset such as Cool Peppers. Chevy’s is going to be your regular, so get ready for the tastiest breakfast to settle than hangover!

Obviously you want to enjoy eating out, but this can make it more difficult to save so we recommend a weekly food shopping routine. If you are rolling in it then brilliant, but you will prepare for the Winter months with a nice bank balance if you do a weekly supermaket shop. There are a range of options from small corner shops, to large supermarkets – there is even a LIDL and a Sainsburys!

Remeber, if you eat well, you will keep that bod you workers so hard for before arriving! it will also mean you are less likely to have days off work with the Vodka flu!

Zante is bursting with nature and incredible creatures – if you like animals then you should definitely check out some of the quieter beaches that are teeming with marine life. The island is also renowned for the range of water sports available to thrill-seekers. St.Nicholas, Alykes and Tsilivi are the best places to find flyboarding and parachuting – there’s also a pretty awesome water park in the area which you can check out on your day off. Zante is known as being quite a spiritual place and you can see loads of beautiful old buildings and churches around the island – you can book onto various excursions that take you on a tour to see more of the cultural side which is definitely recommended.
